The VALTINSU EM-5 is engineered around a gear-reduction motor system, purpose-built for off-road riding where torque, control, and reliability matter more than peak numbers.
Powered by a 48V 23.4Ah battery system, the EM-5 delivers strong and consistent output, reaching a top speed of up to 37 mph (60 km/h) while maintaining smooth, controllable power across varying terrain.
Torque-Focused Motor Design
With a 7.2 gear ratio, the gear-reduction motor multiplies torque before it reaches the rear wheel. This allows the EM-5 to pull confidently at low speeds, maintain traction on loose surfaces, and climb steep terrain with ease—resulting in a maximum climbing angle of up to 40°.
Multi-Mode Power Management
To adapt to different riding environments and skill levels, the EM-5 features three selectable riding modes, each engineered with its own power strategy:
- 16 mph (25 km/h) – Maximum control for technical trails
- 25 mph (40 km/h) – Balanced output for mixed off-road riding
- 37 mph (60 km/h) – Full performance for open terrain
Reliability-First Engineering
The motor uses a Hall sensor design (non-encoder), selected for its proven stability and lower maintenance requirements in harsh off-road environments.
For thermal durability, the motor is equipped with SH-grade magnets, engineered to withstand operating temperatures of 120–150°C, allowing sustained power output under heavy load.
